Vetoed: The governor or executive rejected the bill; it does not become law unless the veto is overridden.
Failed: The bill did not pass before the legislative session ended.
Archived: Historical record — no longer active.
Court Case Authority
Binding: Courts in this jurisdiction must follow this ruling — it sets legal precedent.
Persuasive: Not mandatory, but courts may cite this ruling as a well-reasoned argument.
Non-Precedential: The decision applies only to this case and cannot be cited as precedent.
Case-Specific: Ruling is limited to the unique facts of this dispute.
Court Levels
Trial Court: Where cases begin — facts are established and initial rulings made.
Appellate: Reviews trial court decisions for legal errors.
